Billy George “Chief” was my dad’s best friend. They were friends since first grade and even “flunked” the 2nd grade together (probably planned). They went to northeastern state university together and he was best man at my dad”s wedding (he even spent the wedding night with them ?♀️) . They were both avid golfers and each named a son after each other (Dean and Ronnie Bill). They were friends their whole life and spoke on the phone often. Even though they lived 100+ miles apart, they met up every year for Big Heart Day in Barnsdall where they sat under the gazebo and swapped old stories.
Chief, you were a good man and an excellent friend. You will be missed. (On behalf of my dad, Dean Monigold).
You were the best father anyone could have ever asked for and I will miss you greatly for the rest of my life Dad. Please know that we will be ok and your grandkids will never forget you and always know how much of a legend you were. Love you so much and I will see you again one day.
