Bill and Helen Hogan passed away within hours of each other; It was the final chapter to a love story that stretched 66 years. The Hogan family will be holding private family services.
Bill was born on September 10, 1926, in Grove, Oklahoma. He was a WWII Veteran of the United States Army. He then became a banker which he continued throughout his entire career working to serve Oklahomans. He was President and CEO of Park State Bank in Nicoma Park.
Helen was born January 14, 1928, in Jones, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker, a piano teacher, and excellent seamstress and cook. Helen was a proud member of the Eastern Star, a Campfire Girls leader. Helen loved teaching swimming to her children, nieces and nephews and grandchildren.
Bill and Helen Hogan lived the majority of their lives in Choctaw, Oklahoma and were members of the United Methodist Church. They loved to travel and have been to South America, Europe, the Bahamas and Hawaii.
Bill and Helen are survived by their two daughters, Rebecca Hogan Heil and Jo Lynn Manar, grandchildren Jennifer Marie Heil, Grant Hogan and Alicia Heil, Bill Hogan Heil and fiancée Ashley Baer, Field Hogan Manar and Mitchell Manar. Great Grandchildren Annabelle Jane Heil, and Marshall Dillon Heil. Mr. and Mrs. Hogan were preceded in death by their sons in law, Keith Grant Heil, and Jeff Manar.
