I met Beverly at Southpark East where my sister is a resident. It was so good to know her and I always looked forward to seeing her. Sometimes she & I would be the only 2 people at the support group meetings. I was so shocked when they told me today that Beverly had passed away. I’m going to miss seeing her. I’ve always loved seeing Jerry! He came into my sisters room the first day we moved her in, back when he was still mobile. And every time I say ‘Hi, Jerry!’ he gives me back a big smile. I will continue to give him a hug and visit with him every time I am there. I’m so sorry for your loss. I may not have known Beverly long but it didn’t take long to figure out what a wonderful lady she was!

    1. Thank you from her “baby son”. If you met my mom once you knew her forever. Thank you, Shannon Hopkins.

  2. Beverly and myself was classmates at Durant, OK. We would give each other a prank. Beverly was a special person. I joined the Navy after graduation. Lost track of Beverly. But always thought of her from time to time. I will always have fond memories of Beverly. Hope GOD blesses her family left here to cherish her memory.

  3. Beverly was a great person and a good friend to have. I met Beverly and Jerry first through my husband David. Going to miss seeing her at family gatherings. Rest in peace.

  4. Beverly , I feel so lucky to have known you. You raised two awesome sons who im proud to call my friends. You touched the lives of so many people. It only took one time of telling you how much I loved those strawberry and bananas at the holidays , and you always made sure to remind me they were there when I’d stop in for holiday dinners at Shannon’s. That was truly our thing and it meant so much to me how you treated me as if I was your blood relative. We love you Beverly and will miss you dearly. The world has lost another great person!!

  5. Dear family of Miss Beverly, I am so very sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in knowing that there is comfort in the Beautiful Promise of God given to Miss Beverly . This Promise is at Acts 24:15 and John 11:25. May those caring and loving words help to ease your grief, because they show that God has Miss Beverly in His Loving Memory. He will not forget her.

  6. To the entire “Lewis” family, I am so sorry for your sudden loss of Beverly, but know that she’s with Uncle Perry and Aunt Billie. Have not seen Beverly in quite a few years, but have fond memories when we were together for family get togethers when we were kids. We always had watermelon, fried chicken ( which Beverly could put away) and Grandma McGee’s biscuits. I always admired her ability to talk as fast as she did. May God rest her soul. Cousin Tom McGee
