Betty Ann (Blagg) Weiss

Betty Ann (Blagg) Weiss, 82 of Edmond, went to be with the lord and reunite with her loved ones, who she missed dearly.

Born May 10 , 1939 to Rayford and Marie Blagg in Kinta, OK. She passed peacefully June 16, 2021.

Mom spent 34 years at the State of Oklahoma Department of Health and Human Services in the Food Stamp Division. She also had a ceramec business, always busy making quilts that were hand stitched with love.

Mom’s life was all about family and friends. She built a cabin at lake Eufaula where we gathered for 40 years with a lot of great memories to treasure. For Mom we will continue the traditions that she started.

She was preceded in her death by her parents and both of her brothers, Billy Blagg and Phillip Blagg as well as her husband of 53 years, Billy Dee Weiss.

She is survived by her children; Perry Dean Weiss of Edmond, Pamela Sue Taylor of Edmond, and Patti Lea Bates (Robby) of Chandler. As well as 4 grandkids and 10 great-grandkids.

Services will be held Monday, June 21 2021 at 10:00AM at the Matthews Funeral Home Chapel in Edmond, Oklahoma.

I was saddened to hear of the death of Betty. Memories of her go way back before I got married. We taught Bible School together, and she taught and helped me make a couple of crocheted vests. I remember also teaching both of you girls, Pam and Patti in Sunday School. It had been a while since I had seen her, but I still considered her a good friend. My prayers go out to the family.

Our deepest condolences to Perry, Pam, Patti, Phil & the rest of the family.
