Bertha Pauline (Kerr) Florer, age 92 , of Arcadia, Oklahoma passed away on August 18, 2021. She was born in Waurika, Oklahoma on October 23, 1928, to Auritta Jennie (Bone) and David Sylvester Kerr. She is preceded in death by husband Bill Leon Florer, to whom she was married for 62 wonderful years. As well as brothers and sisters Jesse, Ben, David, Lorene, Irene, Arline, and John. Survived by her five children Polly Vandever and husband Howard, Billy Jr.  and wife  Susan, Susan Kay Mayhall and husband Dennis, Bobby, and Tim Florer. As well as great niece Barbara Jean Gage and sister Gladys (Kerr) Copeland.

Pauline was a member of First Southern Baptist Church of Arcadia, Sunday school teacher, spokeswoman for Lottie Moon Mission offering and WMU Foundation, T-ball coach, gardener, and homemaker. Her legacy as grandmother to 23 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren continues in her honor.

In lieu of flowers family will receive condolences and offerings to Lottie Moon – WMU Foundation.

A visitation will be held Monday, August 23rd at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond, Oklahoma from 8:00AM to 8:00PM. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 24th at Arcadia IOOF Cemetery in Arcadia, Oklahoma at 10:00AM.

    To the Florer family,
    I never got to meet Billy’s grandmother but my daughter Desire’ told me several times how much she loved her and what a wonderful, sweet person she was.
    They are now in Heaven together.

    My prayers for you all in this time of sadness and healing in missing you loved one.
