I’m so sorry to hear about Barbara’s passing, but I rejoice that she is where all Christians want to be – in the presence of her Lord. Barbara was always such a delight to be around. She was truly one of a kind and one of the most genuine and sweetest souls I ever knew. I know she will be missed by her family and friends, but her graduation to heaven will only be a temporary loss for those who loved her on earth.

    Dearest Larry, Lori, and family,

My time knowing Barbara was brief, but I loved her from the day I met her. She was caring and genuine, and had a heart for her God and for others. I know you will miss her terribly. I will miss her, just knowing she is no longer here for me to see if I got the chance. Take care and experience God’s peace as he assures you that she is in a better place.

    Love you guys,

  10. Dear Larry, Lori and family, I know that although your faith and confidence in the promise of resurrection is sure, the loss is so great and the sadness so deep. I have such fond memories of Barbara going all the way back to when I was in high school. She was always so kind and made me feel like family. Her light shined bold and bright. May you find peace and comfort knowing that she is resting in the eternal light of God’s amazing grace and one day, you will be reunited.

  14. Larry, Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to you in the loss of Barbara from this earth. Thankfully, I know that you can grieve with the hope of knowing you will see Barbara again forever this next time because of the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I have such fond memories of our times together at FBC in the Choir, ministering Easter Pageants and Christmas Cantatas, and going on trips to musical seminars with you and Barbara. I am so glad that her life touched mine. She will remain in our hearts and good memories. May the Lord, your Shepherd, supply your every need so that you shall not want nor lack any good thing. Even though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, may you fear no evil. He is with you. May you sense His presence, know His peace, and be surrounded with His love. Your friends are all sending loves and prayers your way.
    In Christ,

    Larry & Lori,
My heart breaks knowing we will never be together again in our dinner club. Our years together in adult choir, children’s choir, fellowships at FBC Edmond were very precious to Jerry & me. Larry, you were the best of the best as far as choir leaders go. Barbara was right up there with you as Children’s Choir director.
Our family had the best time traveling with your family to Glorietta NM. You added fantastic tour guide to your many hats on that trip.
Working with Barbara at Children’s World was a joy. She was so good with the preschoolers. I learned a lot from her.
I’m going to miss her so much!! The last time we spoke was when she called me on my birthday. She was thoughtful like that.
I love you , Barbara. I’m glad you’re in heaven with Jesus. I’ll see you again.

    Dear Larry and Lori,
It is with deep sadness that I learned today from my son, Larry, about Barbara passing away. I had just sent a letter to her last Friday after coming back in town from vacation and had not seen the obituary. I was so excited that we were able to have conversations over the phone to catch up after so many years. She was a wonderful, loving person and will be terribly missed. Our love and prayers to you and your family.
