1966 – 2022
Ashley James Frazer Ball passed away peacefully on Monday, January 24, 2022, after a short illness. He was born October 19, 1966, in Sydney, Australia. Ashley was the eldest of three children of his adoring parents- Warren (lately deceased) and Gail Ball. Ashley attended Sydney Grammar School. He was a gifted student and an excellent sportsman. He graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts and pursued what was to become an outstanding and international career in advertising and communications. This was his way to touch countless lives. His love for the arts, music and travel would take him to Greece where he met his wife Mamie in 1993. They married in Sydney, Australia, in 1995 and welcomed their treasured son Wyatt in 2001. The family moved to the United States in 2002 and their beloved daughter Mina arrived in 2004. Ashley was a self-taught musician of extraordinary talent. His voice, his piano, his guitar. They shone on us all. He dug deep into one’s soul with his beautiful voice and his strumming guitar. He lit up any room. He never met a stranger. Ashley’s family was his world and his purpose and where he gained the meaning that he searched for. He simply devoted everything he had to them. They are his proud legacy.
He is survived by his devoted and loving wife Mamie, his son Wyatt and daughter Mina, his brother David and his wife Bridget, and his sister Susan in Australia; together with his sister’s in-law Valerie Harmon, Stacie and her husband Jay Baker, mother in-law, Annette Heron – all of Tahlequah; father in-law Bryant Harmon and his wife Laura of Ardmore. Ashley also adored his 4 nieces and 6 nephews. Ashley, your light was extinguished too soon. May you rest in eternal peace.
