Hunt, Ashley obit pic cropAshley Dawn Hunt, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2013. She lived each day of her 34 years to the fullest. She was a bright, vivacious spirit full of laughter and lots of love. Ashley was a devoted mother to her only son, A.J., and will be deeply missed by many. She was a property manager for many years. She enjoyed her love for music, dancing, watching movies and her most precious moments were those spent laughing with her family and friends. She had a stunning smile, contagious laugh and captivating personality.

She is preceded in death by her Grandparents Harry and Wanda Hunt, and Grandfather Jack Kenneth Pruett. She leaves behind her son A.J. Hogan, her parents; father Randall Jay Hunt of Bastrop, TX and mother Angie Lamb of Edmond, OK, Step-mother Marla Hunt and Step-father Tom Lamb; 100 year old Great Grandmother Bertha Webb; Grandmother Helen Pruett; Siblings Randy Hunt & wife Jen, Tiffani James & husband Jason, Shawn Hunt & wife Alex, Brett Godfrey and Garan Godfrey, and Step-sisters Ann Phillips-Newton & husband Herb and Nicole Phillips; many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and countless other loving family and friends.

Visitation and viewing will be held at Matthews Funeral Home at 601 S. Kelly, Edmond, OK 73003 on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 from noon-9:00pm, and a Celebration of Ashley’s life will be held at Matthews Funeral Home on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 2:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a website where donations can be sent via Paypal to a fund for Ashley’s son at www.ashleydawnhunt.com.

(John 5:28,29; Rev.21:4) Isaiah 25:8 says: “He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces.”

    My warmest hopes and feelings to all of you as I share in your sympathy for Ashley. For as she so believed in me and knew of my energy, I knew the kindness and warmth of her heart. I wish I had known her more closely, but to have known her at all was a wonderful thing. Love and happiness be with her son A.J., her family, and all of her friends. And may she be there to greet us when our time to ascend also arrives.
