Armando Carro Sr., 80 passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 in OKC, OK. He was born July 19, 1934 to Manuel and Aurora (Garcia) Carro in Camaguey, Cuba. On December 9, 1958 he married Hady Regueiro Carbonell.
Armando enjoyed hunting, fishing and “fixing” things. If ever by his side, you would know that fixing things in quotation meant that directions were never read and extra items were always left over. Yet, it was fixed!
He dedicated his life to his family and to his adopted country where he found the freedom that he sought for them and future generations.
During his life in Oklahoma, he worked for Braums’s as a comptroller accountant at the headquarters in OKC. There, he made lasting friendships that have been a blessing to our family.
He is survived by his wife Hady; his 2 children, Armando Jr., and spouse Tawnya (Carte), and Adys and spouse Marc Alstatt; 4 grandchildren Cristina and spouse Eric Dotson, Emily, Grant, and Jeffrey; and 1 great-grandchild, Tristan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his 14 siblings.

Armando was undoubtedly the nicest, most honest and trustworthy man I ever met. I wish I had been able to be with him more. He went through a lot to be an American citizen and became one of our best. RIP my friend.

To Hady and her family, we offer our deepest sympathies and condolences.
