April May Peters was born May 4, 1979, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to the late David Jay Peters and Jo Mason Peters. She unexpectedly left this earth on February 8, 2017. She is survived by her husband, Brian C. Warner, Jr., 5 daughters and 1 son, Paige Marie Tyson, Dale Jay Peters-Hixon, Malerie Warner, LynZee Warner, Courtany Sanders all of the home in Guthrie, and Tiffani Wallace of OKC as well as 3 step children Addrianna Ledford, Tyler Warner and Taylor Warner all of whom she loved very much. She is also survived by her mother, Jo Peters, brother, David A. Peters both of Edmond, and sister Suzanne Locke of Guthrie, an aunt and uncle, Melva and Larry Ferguson of Texas, a half-sister Cherie Burton, her in-laws, Brian C. & Victoria Warner of California and Richard and Geri Walters of Paden, OK, along with 8 brothers & sisters-in-law along with many nieces and nephews. .

April grew up in Edmond and attended school there until she moved to Guthrie where she graduated from high school. She had many friends that loved her as well as many of her children’s friends that called her Mom. She was a beautiful person inside and out and never knew a stranger or refused to help anyone in need. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, February 11, 2017 and Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Matthews Funeral Home Edmond, OK.  Memorial Services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, February 13th, at the First Assembly of God in Guthrie.
