hall, annAnn Mathews Hall died Friday afternoon following a long illness.  She was 85.

Funeral services will be at ll a.m. Wednesday at Southern Hills Christian Church in Edmond, where she had been a member since 1980. Cremation were her wishes.

Mrs. Hall grew up in Montgomery, Ala., and moved to Edmond a few years after her marriage in Nashville, Tenn., to Dennie Hall 54 years ago.  She was a talented typist, artist and a friend to many.  As a member of Southern Hills Christian Church, she sang in the choir, helped establish the bell choir and spent many years preparing meals for the elderly.

She is survived by her husband; her daughter, Amy Hall of Edmond; her son, John Hall of Shawnee; her sisters, Pat Epperson of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Donnie Pouncy of Montgomery, Ala.; and three grandsons, Marshall Hall and wife Corey; Mathew Hall and Mason Hall.

She was deeply involved in the life of her family and had many loving neighbors and friends.  She was a talented seamstress, an artist and a woman kindly respected and loved, such as few who come to dwell on this earth.
