Andrea Michelle Staggs
1984-2019
Andrea Michelle Staggs, 35, of Edmond, was called home to Heaven on July 11, 2019 after a hard fought battle with cancer. She was a talented hair stylist, loving mother, beloved daughter, the best big sister, supportive friend and her quick wit made her easily the funniest person in the room.
She will be missed dearly by her family and many loyal and caring friends who celebrate the fact that she is at peace and in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Andrea is survived by her son, Teague Ryan; her mother and stepfather, Linda and Mike Lonkerd; her father and stepmother, Gerald and Linda Staggs; her brother, Shane Staggs; her sister, Melissa Schwalk; stepbrother, Randy Lonkerd and stepsister, Shelbi Lonkerd. She was Aunt Andrea to Roman, Izzy, Joslynn, and Sophia.
A celebration of Andrea’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 19th, at Matthews Funeral Home.
I loved her personality and attitude. She was always in a good mood and would make you laugh! She lit up the room. My heart is sad for her son and family. Prayers for all.

I lived across the street from her for a few months in 2018 on Hurd st. She had a great heart and a huge love for Christ. We had quite a few laughs in our brief time as neighbors. I just found out about this and my heart hurts for her loss from this Earth but I feel that her spirit is in am amazing place now. We spent many evenings on her porch discussing the importance of Jesus Christ. May God give her parents, friends and son peace!!
