1916-2013

Heckenlively, AlphiaAlphia Pauline (Kuchta) Heckenlively was born May 27, 1916. She entered eternity on June 21, 2013 at the Rosewood Assisted Living Center, Flower Mound Texas.

The daughter of Peter and Pauline Kuchta of Yankton, South Dakota she relocated to Honolulu Hawaii shortly after graduating from high school where she and her husband, Paul, were married. They lived in Aiea, Hawaii until Paul’s retirement as President of Foremost McKesson Dairies Hawaii in 1981. Three years later, they moved to Roseville, California, where they lived for 14 years. They then relocated to Edmond, Oklahoma to be close to family.

Alphia and Paul lived rich and full lives of community service and their acts of generosity endeared them to those they knew. A loving and supporting wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Alphia was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years Paul Edward Heckenlively, brother Howard, brother Frank and sister Gladys. She is survived by her two daughters, Barbara and husband William Chapman, Edmond, OK and daughter Marilyn and husband Martin (Bill) McIntire of Flower Mound, Texas, five grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Rosewood Assisted Living Center who worked lovingly and diligently to make her Sunset Days a happy, influencing and memorable experience.

Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 26th at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel, Edmond, OK with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
