Sharon Kay Walker Condit departed from this world to be face to face with our Lord and Savior on February 7th, 2016. Sharon was surrounded by her children and her beloved caregivers when she answered the Lord’s call.
Sharon was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and took in His word daily. Sharon was born January 29th, 1937, in Arkansas City, Kansas, to Milton Wayne and Mary Louise Walker. She graduated from Arkansas City High School in 1955 with the best classmates one could ask for and she remained close to them until the end. Sharon became an X-ray technologist and worked for the Ark City Clinic for many years.
She married Bo Condit on March 3rd, 1956, in Ark City, where they made their home and had six children: Bret, Kerry Bryan, Lesley, Josh (deceased), Penny and Tracy. Sharon is survived by her brothers David Walker, Butch Walker, Jon Walker, and her sister, A.J. Holloway, all of her children, except Josh, 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Bo and Sharon moved to Edmond, OK in 2003 to be closer to Penny and Tracy.
