Kenneth Anderson, 91, passed away peacefully while sleeping on Monday, March 28, 2016 in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Born March 19, 1925, in Lancaster, PA, he was the son of the late Richard and Mabel (Waters) Anderson. He was married to JoAnn (Roehm) Anderson for nearly 60 years until her death in 2010 and is survived by their son Keith T. Anderson of Lancaster, PA and daughter Colleen M., wife of Craig R. Kitchen, of Edmond, OK. In addition, he will be lovingly missed by his two grandchildren, Kenneth Anderson Kitchen, of Edmond OK and Danielle B., wife of David Baker, Wahiawa, HI, as well as his great-granddaughter, Adalyn Baker.
Ken was a graduate of Girard College in Philadelphia, PA and a veteran of WWII. He was a loving father, grandfather and husband, who has provided countless warm memories for his family to forever cherish. He retired from Alcoa in Lancaster, was an avid tennis player, a gifted woodworker, and also very much enjoyed travelling.
Ken is also survived by his sister, Mildred Yeager of Lancaster, and preceded in death by his sisters Dorothy Porter and Janet Hobday of Lancaster, and brother, John “Rob” Anderson of Allentown, PA.
