John William Hutchinson, Jr., age 65 of Edmond, OK, died on December 4, 2016 of natural causes. John Jr. was born in Okmulgee, OK on April 9, 1951 to Barbara (Baugh) and John W. Hutchinson, Sr.
John Jr. graduated from Edmond Memorial High School in 1969 and received BS in History from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1974. He was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity, a bond with brothers that he spoke of often, and an avid fan of OU sports. He retired in 2015 after 22 years of operating an Edmond area postal business with his brother.
John Jr. is survived by his mother Barbara, daughter Andrea and husband Brad Bumgarner, grand-daughters Courtney and Caitlyn Bumgarner, brother Robert and wife Glennette, all of Edmond; sister Caroline and husband Doug Hall of Westerville, OH; nephew Jeffrey Hicks and wife Emily, niece Katie Hutchinson, and nephew Matthew Hall. John Jr. was preceded in death by his father John Sr.
