Chad Aaron Birkicht

Chad Aaron BirkichtBirkicht, Chad

1982-2016

Chad Birkicht, one of our beautiful children, passed away on Friday afternoon, September 30, 2016. He is survived by his parents Dennis and Diana Birkicht, sister Carenza her husband Steve and their two children Beckham and Adele, his brother Chris and Chris’ daughter Amelia; grandparents Glen and Alta Gooch and George and Deloris Birkicht. Aunt Teresa and Uncle Cliff Peden and Aunt Angie Haag; cousins Dustin Pritner, Blake and Amber Pankey, Wade Peden, Rachel and her husband Craig Spiva, and Jay Haag.

Chad was born on February 16, 1982 in Oklahoma City. He graduated from Deer Creek High School in 2001. He grew up loving the outdoors, catching all kids of critters, fishing, skiing, swimming, bicycling, and many other activities. He loved animals and always had some kind of pet. Chad spent many hours at Emmanuel Baptist Church. It was very important to him and would invite all his friends to go with him. Chad went to the University of Central Oklahoma for two years. He had many jobs in his 34 years and did well at each one. He was currently working as a salesman at A to Z Flooring in Enid. Chad loved his family and friends. He lost his life as a result of a drug addiction that he could not escape. It is a terrible loss. With that being said, the kindness, gentleness, and respect that he always showed was like a pot of fine gold.

His memorial service will be held at Crossings Community Church at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 11th. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Chad’s name to Main Street Foundation (Van’s House) at 701 W. Maine, Enid, OK 73701.

Amen to all that has been said about Chad in his obituary. He was a very special young man who always had a kind word for all those he encountered. Chad was comfortable wth all ages…..he could just as easily play with children as he could talk to all ages of adults. His smile lit up a room when he entered and he was a delight to be around. His terrible brain disease of addiction took him from us way to soon, even so he will always be remembered and greatly missed.

Ours prayers and love go out to his wonderful parents, sister, brother, and grandparents.

    In loving memory of Chad,

    Great-Uncle Ted & Great-Aunt Dianna

So very sorry to hear of Chad’s passing. I only knew him recently but found him to be a very personal young man with an easy smile. We pray God’s arms will surround the family during this time of grief.
